I just bought a new walkabout zoom lens.
I originally bought a second hand Canon 75-300mm non IS el-cheapo zoom lens when I bought my 550D but have very rarely used it as its really pretty average! I've been thinking of replacing it with something a little better but could not justify spending $1300 on the Canon 70-200mm f4L. I've got the Canon EF-S 10-22mm Wide Angle, and the Canon EF-S 17-85mm so really just needed a zoom...After reading almost every review for almost every budget zoom lens I decided on the Sigma 18-200 OS. I tried out the Sigma 18-250mm on a 550D in store and it felt really solid so hopefully my lens will be the same! I should get it by the end of this week as I bought it from DigitalRev for $380! Not a bad price I thought

Especially compared with something like the Canon 55-250 lens ($210 online), which is quite good optically but doesn't have that wide angle range...
I realise this is not an amazing lens optically but for the price and for the amount of use it'll really get I cant complain!
Has anyone used this lens and have any comments or critiques?
Here's the lens info:
