This photo is of the small harbour in Nightcliff, a suburb just north of Darwin was taken from the Jetty which is famous for amazing sunsets! And I think this one is no exception.
Feedback/critiques are ALWAYS appreciated! :D

Equip used: Canon 550D, EF-S 10-22mm, Hoya ND4, ND8

Have you considered getting a grad nd filter?

Yeah I've been wanting to get one for a while now...I have a cokin slot in system so just need to fork out for a decent filter! But the cokin doesn't quite work on the wide angle lens so I lose everything in the 10-14mm range of the lens...Was looking at getting the proper wide angle holder but the filters are just too pricey!

well ive been told the hitech filters are quite good and for a cheaper price, it means u can xstak more and get rid of the overblown highlight

Yeah? I'll have to do some research, if they fit the cokin system it should be alright to use...I've got the cokin wide angle holder that doesn't cause vignetting but only allows 1 filter to be fitted, better than no filter! I wish I had them when I took these pics ;p

Yeah I've tried that one and its ok on my zoom lens but on my Canon 10-22mm I lose most of the range cos the sides of the filter holder shows up in the photos :( But I will have to get me some of the hitech filters and try them out!
